Traditional Wisdom for Contemporary Life

As a life long student, I continue to study many things relating to health, wellbeing and relationships. As I immerse myself further into the study of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I become more convinced of the value of merging traditional wisdom and philosophy with contemporary science and our modern human experience.

For centuries, people lived in rhythm with nature, considered food as medicine and prioritised community. Our disconnection from this way of living seems to be partly responsible for many of the challenges humans face today. Holistic approaches that focus on foundational connections to the earth, family and community and ourselves seem to enhance the impacts of modern science and technology on our health and happiness endeavours.

Perhaps more than ever, can we find a relevance and a sageness in applying these concepts to our modern lives
