This small business was established in Melbourne during the trials of 2020 in an effort to connect with community and holistic wellbeing through creating moments of calm, during uncertain times. Within Incense seeks to share the benefits of daily ritual and how it can enhance not only connection with self but with each other to make impactful change.
100% natural, and crafted in Awaji Island (the birthplace of traditional Japanese Incense) using age old artisanal practices and pure, plant based materials. Made from naturally-binding bark from the Machines Thunbergii tree (the Japanese Bay Tree), an evergreen tree which sheds its bark in large chunks, perfect for making incense. Pure essential oils and 100% plant based powder are then combined with the bark to produce a natural aromatic scent on burning. This product has a low smoke burn with no bamboo inner and contains no perfumes, just a subtle 100% natural scent. Packaged in recyclable materials locally sourced.
